EZ Gig II Software Introduction
The EZ Gig II Hard Drive Cloning and Upgrade Software is a disk duplication
program with many powerful features.
In 'Disk Clone' mode, EZ Gig II creates bootable copies of Hard Drives. It can copy
Disk Drives with multiple partitions, and even allow the user to set the sizes of the
partitions on the new drive. 'Disk Clone' is ideal for hard drive upgrades or creating
a disaster recovery backup.
In 'Disk Imaging' mode, EZ Gig II creates compressed images of the entire hard
drive or a partition stores them as an archived file to on external storage device.
EZ Gig II supports FAT16, FAT32 and NTFS Drive Partitions.
EZ Gig II also supports IDE, USB, SATA and IEEE1394 (FireWire) disk drives.
EZ Gig II runs as a stand-alone utility when booted directly from the CD ROM, but
can also be installed and run as a regular program from within Windows (when
used as a Windows program, EZ Gig II uses Windows device drivers to access disk
drives). Both methods have identical features, and present similar screen options
for the user.
