    EZ Gig II CD. 2. Make sure your computer is off. 3. Connect EZ Upgrade 1.8T to your computer with the Mini-B to USB cable provided. 4. Open the CD-ROM drive (some computers may need to be turned on in order to open the CD-ROM Drive).

    6. Check your fi les on the hard drive using My Computer. If everything has been cloned properly, you can reformat your old hard drive to use as backup once you have put it into the EZ Upgrade 1.8T case (directions in Hardware Installation section).

    No user intervention is required. Macintosh: 1. Plug the EZ Upgrade 1.8T cable into any open USB port on your notebook computer. A USB Auxiliary Power Cable is included should your notebook not work with the Mini B to USB Cable only.

    FAT32 does have limitations. You cannot save a fi le larger than 4GB. In Windows 2000 and XP, the partition size is limited to 32GB. The EZ Upgrade 1.8T will be usable in your system, however we recommend that you reformat the hard...

    Start button, Programs Apricorn EZ Gig II and click on Apricorn EZ Gig II. This will open the main screen of EZ Gig II. You can also click on the Apricorn EZ Gig II icon on the Desktop. 4. Click on the Create Image icon from the main screen to open Image EZ.

    USB 1.1 devices can communicate at about 12 Megabits/sec. USB 2.0 devices can communicate at speeds of up to 480 Megabits/ 4. The EZ Upgrade 1.8T power LED is on, but the drive is not automatically detected by the operating system.
