TCP/IP Settings dialog
With TCP/IP selected as the Transport Connection Option, click Settings in the Communications Settings
dialog to open the TCP/IP Settings dialog (FIG. 51):

Serial Port Settings dialog
With Serial selected as the Transport Connection Option, click Settings in the Communications Settings
dialog to open the Serial Port Settings dialog (FIG. 52):

Flow Control Click the down arrow to open a menu where you can choose the Flow Control

Enter a valid target TCP/IP Address.
The IP Port assignment defaults to 1319.
You should not change the IP Port number.
This option prompts the program to ping the target IP address to ensure that
the Master is available.
Click to save changes and close this dialog.
Click to discard changes and close this dialog.
Click the down arrow to open a menu where you can choose between available COM ports.
Click the down arrow to open a menu where you can choose the baud rate of your COM port
from the list (suggested setting = 38400).
Click the down arrow to open a menu where you can choose the Data Bits
(suggested setting = 8).
Click the down arrow to open a menu where you can choose the parity
(suggested setting = none).
Click the down arrow to open a menu where you can choose the Stop bit(s)
(suggested setting = 1).
