Step Three:
Scratch the side of the label to
reveal a 20-digit battery code. The
20-digit battery code reads starting
from the number at the top row
followed by the bottom row eg
12345678919876543210.
Step Four:
Confirm that the 20-digit battery
code is valid by verifying it at the
Nokia website or via a text message.

battery code
• Go to

and follow the instructions; or

• Go to Messages, then to Create
Messages.
For countries in Asia Pacific
excluding India:
Key in the 20-digit battery code
eg 12345678919876543210 and
send to +61 427 151515.
Operator SMS charges will apply.
If you are verifying from a
location outside Australia,
international SMS charges will
apply.
For India only:
Key in "Battery" followed by the
20-digit battery code eg Battery
12345678919876543210 and
send to 5555. 5555 is only
applicable for users of GSM
network. Operator SMS charges
will apply. For users of CDMA
network, please check your
battery via the website.
After completing all the steps, you
will receive a message indicating
whether the battery code is valid.
