Programme chart and items suitable for drying using the basket

Programme
Basket - Std. temp (no drum rotation)
– for thermally stable textiles / items
Basket - Low temp (no drum rotation)
– for thermally sensitive textiles / items
Cool air (with drum rotation)
– for items that just need airing
Suitable textiles / items
Items must be able to withstand heat. Please follow instructions given on the care
label. If in doubt: air with cool air only.
Woollen items such as
– Gloves, scarves, socks, hats
Other textiles / items
– Cuddly toys (e.g. teddy bears)
(drying time approx. 70-100 minutes).
– Party wear (e.g. sequinned tops).
Tips
– To prevent the risk of damage when
the drum rotates do not place large
items which could come into contact
with the drum or drum ribs in the
drying basket (e.g. knee length boots,
large bags or rucksacks).
– Sleeves, belts and ties should be
folded in or secured so that they are
fully contained within the drying
basket.
– Remove insoles from shoes and place
them next to the shoes in the drying
basket. Tuck laces inside shoes.

leather components
– Trainers and shoes with removable
insoles (drying time approx.
100-120 minutes).
– Bags and rucksacks.
– To ensure even airing or drying only
dry one pair of shoes at a time.
Shoes and bags should be opened
up as far as possible.
– Note: We do not advise the drying
of large woollen garments such as
jumpers. Any folds could be made
permanent by the drying process.
– For hygiene reasons: only place
clean items in the drying basket.
– Do not select the longest drying
time to start with. You may need to
experiment to find out the correct
drying time required for your items.
