Check lights and fault messages

Problem
The Clean out
airways light
comes on.
The programme
stops and the
Clean out
airways indicator
light is flashing.
The Empty out
container
indicator light
comes on.

Possible cause
This indicator light comes on to warn you that the dryer is not
working efficiently.
The fluff filters may be
blocked.
Detergent residues, hair and
fine fibres can block up the
condenser unit.
See above for possible causes and their remedies.
No obvious cause.
The condensed water
container is full or there is
kink in the drain hose.
Remedy
Remove any fluff (see
"Cleaning and care").
Check the condenser unit
from time to time and clean it
if necessary (see "Cleaning
and Care").
– The indicator light will go
out when you open the
door, if the dryer is
switched on.
– The Clean out airways
indicator light can be
deactivated (see
"Programmable functions").
– Switch the dryer off and
then on again.
– Then start the programme
again.
If the programme stops again
and the fault message
reappears there is a fault.
Contact the Miele Service
Department.
– Empty out the condensed
water container.
– Check the drain hose.
– The indicator light will go
out if you switch the dryer
off and then back on again.
