In all programmes the drying process is
assisted by the heating element. Drying
heat is set as activated at the factory.
Switching the heating elements off dur-
ing drying will save approx. 0.1 kWh in
electricity. The dishes are then dried
with residual heat. Open the dish-
washer door at the end of a programme
to allow the dishes to dry better.
^ Switch the dishwasher off using the
"On/Off" button.
^ Turn the programme selector to the
"Stop" position.
^ Press the "Start" button in and whilst
holding it in switch the dishwasher
on using the "On/Off" button. Release
the "Start" button within two seconds.
The "Salt" indicator light will start flash-
ing
If a different indicator light comes on or
flashes, the process must be repeated.
The "Rinse aid" indicator light will come
on if you have not yet added rinse aid
or if rinse aid needs replenishing.

^ Turn the programme selector to the
"10 o'clock" position.
– If the "Start" indicator light does not
come on:
Drying heat is switched on.
– If the "Start" indicator light does
come on:
Drying heat is switched off.
^ Press the "Start" button to change the
setting.
Depending on the previous setting the
"Start" indicator light will either come on
or go out.
^ Turn the programme selector to the
"Stop" position.
^ Switch the dishwasher off using the
"On/Off" button.
The change is now stored in memory.
