Video Capture Mode

The Video Capture Mode allows you to capture videos with your digital camera.
 When the camera is first powered ON, the camera will be in Photo Capture Mode.
 Press the MODE button once to access the Video Capture Mode.
Taking a Video
1)
While in Video Capture Mode use the LCD display to direct the camera at the scene you
would like to capture.

Press the

Press the Shutter button on the top of the camera to START the video capture.

You will see a red icon at the top of the LCD indicating that the record is in progress.
The elapsed recording time appears on the top right side of the LCD screen.

To STOP the video record, press the Shutter button again.
The video will automatically be saved to the camera‟s SD memory card.
6)
Including Yourself in the Video
You can also capture your videos using the Twinview screen – the LCD screen on the front of the
camera.

Before taking the video, ensure that the Macro Switch on the side of the camera is up and in
the ON position

When you would like to quickly include yourself in the video, simply
press
Front LCD Screen button (located under the zoom
buttons). The front LCD screen will display the scene you would
like to capture.
Hold the camera steady facing towards you at arm‟s length

Make sure you can see yourself on the LCD screen.

Look at the camera lens.

Click the Shutter button to begin the video capture.
NOTE: Videos taken without Macro mode ON
