tions.

Press the PLAY/PAUSE / button.
! You can also use the PLAY/PAUSE
the main unit.
! The menu appears on the TV and playback is
paused.

Select the desired menu number using the direct number buttons.
! Playback starts.
! After playback stops, the menu returns. Select the menu number to play.
To interrupt playback:
Press the PLAY/PAUSE / button.
To resume playback from the same point, press the PLAY/PAUSE
To stop playback:
Press the STOP button.
You can also use the STOP button on the main unit.
To stop the current operation and return to the menu:
Press the RETURN button.
To scroll the menu screen (menu screen with more than 1 page):
Press the or button.
You can also use the or button on the main unit.
Notes:
! Subtitles and sounds on the super video CD can be switched (see page 22).
! The menu screen cannot be scrolled on some discs.
Switching P.B.C. function
When playing back SVCD/VCD with P .B.C. function, use the PBC ON/OFF button to
activate or deactivate the function.
When the P.B.C. function is deactivated, the menu screen will not appear.
The disc will be played in the same way as a SVCD/VCD without P.B.C.
Whilst the disc is playing, press the PBC ON/
OFF button.
Each time you press the button, the setting switches on
and off.
Note:
Some SVCD/VCD with P.B.C. cannot be played back when the P.B.C. mode is off.
