    Battery Charging Battery • Plug the charger connector into the battery • Plug the charger into a standard 120 volt wall outlet Note: If power flow to the wall outlet is controlled by a switch, make sure the switch is “ON”. •...
  • Page 10 Battery Clamp Unit • Insert two #10 x 1" screws through the holes in the battery clamp unit and into the pegs in the dash. Battery Clamp • Position the dash on the vehicle body. • Make sure the motor harness connector wire is through the groove in the dash.

    Important Note: Use only a Power Wheels Use of any other battery will damage your vehicle. Make sure that you charge the battery for at least 18 hours using the enclosed Power Wheels ® 12 volt charger before operating your vehicle for the first time. Charge the battery for at least 14 hours after each use of the vehicle.

    Disposal • Your Power Wheels ® battery is a sealed lead-acid battery. It must be recycled or disposed of in an environmentally sound manner. • Do not dispose of a lead-acid battery in your regular, household trash. The incineration, landfilling or mixing of sealed lead-acid batteries with household trash is prohibited by law in most areas.
