Archiving CDs

Method 1

T T o o a a r r c c h h i i v v e e a a C C D D : :
Run the LINNTEK Control Utility on your PC.
Insert the CD, label side up, into the slot on the front panel of the KIVOR INDEX
until the disc mechanism draws the disc in.

Wait a few seconds for the KIVOR INDEX to read the contents information on the
disc.
Press R R e e c c o o r r d d A A l l l l if you wish to archive the whole album.
or
Press C C u u s s t t o o m m if you want to archive certain tracks only, then follow the on-screen
instructions.
When archiving has finished, the disc mechanism will eject the CD.

Method 2

The KIVOR INDEX can be configured to automatically archive a CD when one is
inserted.

Right-click on the bar at the top of the LINNTEK Control Utility screen.
Click S S e e t t t t i i n n g g s s .
Check the A A u u t t o o m m a a t t i i c c a a l l l l y y r r e e c c o o r r d d d d i i s s c c w w h h e e n n i i n n s s e e r r t t e e d d checkbox.
Click O O K K .
T T o o a a r r c c h h i i v v e e a a C C D D : :
Insert the CD, label side up, into the slot on the front panel of the KIVOR INDEX
until the disc mechanism draws the disc in.
When archiving has finished, the disc mechanism will eject the CD.
I I m m p p o o r r t t a a n n t t : :
D D o o n n o o t t attempt to insert a CD into the KIVOR INDEX if there is one already in the
unit.
D D o o n n o o t t insert 8cm discs or irregularly shaped discs (heart-shaped, business card size
etc) into the KIVOR INDEX as they may damage the unit.
