Accessing the Look-up Service

The Gracenote CDDB ® Music Recognition Service
artist, album and track title information for thousands of CDs. If your KIVOR INDEX is
configured to connect to an Internet Service Provider*, or uses an Ethernet
connection, it can access the Gracenote CDDB Service. Artist, album and track title
information will be shown in the LINNTEK Control Utility database panel.

Right-click on the bar at the top of the LINNTEK Control Utility screen.
Click C C o o n n f f i i g g u u r r a a t t i i o o n n .
Select the C C o o n n n n e e c c t t i i o o n n T T y y p p e e tab.
Select the M M o o d d e e m m option.
Select the A A c c c c o o u u n n t t S S e e t t t t i i n n g g s s tab.
Enter the telephone number you use to connect to your Internet Service Provider.
Enter the user name and password you use to log-on to your Internet Service
Provider.
Click O O K K .
*Your Internet Service Provider must accept dial-up networking connections.

The KIVOR INDEX has been factory configured for connection by modem to UK-
ONLINE should you wish to use their service (the pre-configured telephone number,
user name and password are not shown). Entering information for your preferred
Internet Service Provider will overwrite the factory configuration.

Select the desired mode and enter the necessary Internet settings.
Click O O K K .
If you are using an Ethernet connection, your KIVOR INDEX can be further configured
to automatically access the Gracenote CDDB Service when a disc is inserted.
