    The UPS includes two communications ports (Port 1 and Port 2) that allow data exchange with host computers. CAUTION: Use only the DE9 cables supplied by HP to connect the communications port to the host computer. Use of standard RS-232 cables may cause equipment damage.

    Two option slots are available to further expand the capabilities of the UPS R6000 in both power control and server communication for networking environments. HP option kits include the Multi-Server UPS Card, the Scalable UPS Card, and the SNMP-EN Adapter.
