WELCOME!
Congratulations on your purchase of this Health o meter® wellness
monitoring product. It's so much more than just a scale. It helps
monitor your weight and body fat composition for up to four
different users. It also tracks weight changes and compares them
to your goal. It's easy to use. Once your profile is set, your scale is
ready to use. Also, you can save up to five records for each user.
It's that simple!

Please read all instructions to familiarize yourself with features and operations before
programming the scale.
• The use of this scale is not recommended for persons with an electric implant
(heart pacemaker).
• The scale will not calculate body fat unless you have bare feet.
• For an accurate body fat estimate, do not bend your knees, and keep your
legs/thighs apart and straight when standing on the scale.
• The body fat function is not recommended for use by pregnant women, persons
with fever, swollen legs or other edemas, as well as a person who is over
hydrated or dehydrated.
• Body fat percentages may be slightly higher or lower for children under 16,
persons with diabetes and other health conditions.
• Women naturally store approximately 5% more body fat than men.

This process will erase the records for the selected user.
NOTE: You will be prompted to reset your
profile and goal.

The scale will prompt you to reset your
profile. For further instructions, please
see page 3.

Make sure the LCD display is turned off.
1. Turn the scale over.
2. Using a pin, press the button inside the small hole
located near the top for 3 seconds. The scale's
memory has been reset.

The Health o meter ® Body Fat Monitoring Scale can help you in achieving
your physical best by providing two critical measurement estimates: BODY
FAT COMPOSITION and BODY WEIGHT. In addition it helps you track your
progress to a goal by allowing you to set your weight goal and calculating the
weight differences between your starting point, your previously saved weight
and your set weight goal.
Traditional bathroom scales, indicate your overall weight—both lean mass
and body fat together. The Health o meter ® Body Fat Monitoring Scale lets
you track your weight and body fat separately. See enclosed brochure for
more information on Body Fat.

A hard surface is best for maximum accuracy.

2. Press or hold down the "SCROLL/HISTORY" button to choose the desired HOUR.
3. Press the "SET/SAVE" button. MINUTES will start blinking.
4. Press or hold down the "SCROLL/HISTORY" button to choose the desired
MINUTES.
5. Press the "SET/SAVE" button. "AM" or "PM" will start blinking.
6. Press the "SCROLL/HISTORY" button to choose "AM" or "PM".
7. Press the "SET/SAVE" button. Now your clock is set.

This unit includes four (4) AA batteries. When " O " appears on the display, replace O
all batteries.
Removing the batteries
will reset the Date and a
Time but the recorded
data will not be affected.
Battery Replacement
a) Locate the battery cover on the back of the scale.
Push the locking tab and pull the battery cover up.
b) Use the tip of a pen to loosen each battery. Hold the
scale at an angle to allow the batteries to slide out.

c) Insert four new batteries, pressing them firmly into
their slot.
d) Replace the battery cover.
e) Set the Time/Date (see ADJUSTING TIME AND
DATE).

Periodically wipe the scale surface down with a DRY cloth to remove dust.

8. Press or hold down the "SCROLL/HISTORY" button to choose the desired

1. Press and hold the desired user button until the HEIGHT icon starts flashing.
2. Press the "SCROLL/HISTORY" button to choose the desired FEET (or
CENTIMETERS in KG mode). Then press the "SET/SAVE" button.
3. Press the "SCROLL/HISTORY" button to choose the desired INCHES. Then press
the "SET/SAVE" button.
NOTE: Step 3 is not required for KG mode.
Now you are ready to set your age and gender:
4. Press or hold down the "SCROLL/HISTORY" button to choose the desired AGE.
Then press the "SET/SAVE" button.
5. Press the "SCROLL/HISTORY" button to choose the desired gender (MALE or
FEMALE). Then press the "SET/SAVE" button.
Display should show HEIGHT, AGE and GENDER. Then "YES" will start blinking.
Now you are ready to set your weight goal:
6. Press the "SCROLL/HISTORY" button to select "YES" or "NO".
NOTE: You can set a goal (by
selecting "YES") or just track 6
your weight (by selecting
"NO").

store your selection.

"SET/SAVE" to store it.
