Title selection
Two or more titles are recorded on some discs. [fthe title menu
is recorded on tile disc, you can select tile desired title.

Press ToP_o during playback.
Title menu appears on the screen.
Press • • • • to select tile desired title.
PLAY
Press @ or oE).
Tile playback of tile selected title will start.
Note:
• Depending on the DVD, you may not be able to select the
title.
° Depending on the DVD, a "title menu" may simply be called
a "menu" or "title" in the instructions supplied with the disc.
° Depending on the DVD, the title menu may be displayed
automatically when the disc is loaded.
° Depending on the DVD, a chapter menu may be displayed
after you select a title.
Changing soundtrack language
You can select the language when you play a multilingual disc.
SS AUDO . Pie.. _ dm ng playback.
The current soundtrack language will appear.

Press _ repeatedly unhl the desired hmguage is selected.
• The on screen display will disappear ariel a few
seconds.

In case of Video CD playback

Stop tile disc playback.
SS MENU
Press
0 and open tile Audio menu.

Highlight Audio Setup and press @.

Press • or • to highlight DVD Audio,
and then press •
or• to select tile desired audio mode (Stereo, L-Mono.
R-Mono, or MIX-Mono).
Note: ?-hisitem may not be selectable depending on the
disc.
Note:
• lfthedesiredlanguageisnotheardafterpressingthebutton
several times, the language is not recorded on the disc.
° Changing soundtrack language is cancelled whenyou eject
the disc. The initial default language or available language
will be heard if the disc is played back again.
° If you select DTS in playing DTS-encoded disc, no sound
will be heard from the TV's speakers.
Subtitles
When playing back a disc recorded with subtitles, you can
select the subtitle language or turn the subtitle off

To turn ott tile subhtle, press _ until SUBTITLE OFF
appears.
• The "SUBTITLE OFF" on screen display will
disappear after a few seconds.
