Turning off the built-in
speakers
Use this feature to turn the "I_Vspeakers offwhen you connect an
audio system (See "Connecting
an audio system" on page 14).
"lb turn offthe built-in speakers:
1. Press MENU, then press "9 or I_ until AUDIO menu appears.
2. Press i, or • to highlight SPEA_RS.
3. Press "I or !_ to highlight OFE

"lb turn on the built-in speakers:
Highlight ON in step 3 above.
Selecting
the Audio OUT sound
This feature allows you to select the sound source (MAIN or POP)
that is output from the Audio OUT jacks (See "Connecting
two
VCRs" on page 13).
This is useful when amplifying or recording the POP sound with
external equipment while hearing the sound of the main picture
through the built-in speakers.
"lb select the Audio OUT sound:
1. Press MENU, and then press "9 or !1_until the AUDIO menu
appears.
2. Press i, or • m highlight AUDIO OU'E
3. Press "9 or !1_to select MAIN or POP.

Note:
Make sure the volume control of your audio
amplifier is set to a moderate listeninglevel.
MENU
• MAIN : Outputs the sound of the main program.
• POP
: Outputs the sound of the POP program.
