WHO
IS COVERED?
You must haveproof of purchaseto receive warranty service. A sales
receipt or other documentshowingthat you purchasedthe product is
consideredproof of purchase.
WHAT
IS COVERED?
Warranty coverage beginsthe day you buyyour product. For90 days
therea_er, all partswill be repaired or replaced free, and labor is free.
From 90 daysto one year from the day of purchase,all parts will be
repaired or replaced free, but you pay for all labor charges. From one
to two years from the day of purchase,you payfor the replacement or
repair of all parts except the picture tube, andfor all labor charges.
After two years from the day of purchase, y ou payfor the replacement
or repair of all parts, andfor all labor charges.
All parts, includingrepaired and replaced parts, are covered onlyfor
the originalwarranty period. When the warranty on the product
expires, the warranty on all replaced and repaired parts also expires.
WHAT
IS EXCLUDED?
Your warranty does not cover:
labor chargesfor installationor setup of the product, adjustmentof
customer controls on the product, and installationor repair of
antenna systemsoutsideof the product.
product repair and/or part replacement becauseof misuse,
accident,unauthorizedrepair or other causenot within the control
of Philips Consumer ElectronicsCompany,
reception problems causedby signalconditionsor cable or antenna
systemsoutsidethe unit.
• a product that requires modificationor adaptationto enableit to
operate in any country other than the country for which it was
designed,manufactured,approved and/or authorized, or repair of
products damagedby these modifications.
• incidentalor consequentialdamages resulting from the product.

Warranty service isavailablein all countries where the product is
officiallydistributed by Philips Consumer ElectronicsCompany. In
countries where PhilipsConsumer ElectronicsCompany does not
distribute the product, the localPhilips serviceorganizationwill attempt
to provide service (althoughthere may be a delayif the appropriate
spareparts andtechnicalmanual(s)are not readily available).
