Cassette Compartment
Insert a video cassette tape here.
Wireless Remote Sensor
Receivesa signal f rom your remote control
so you can operate theTV/VCR from a dis-
tance.
STOP/EJECT Button
Pressonce to stop the tape.When playbackis
stopped,press to eject the tape. Pressto
selectan item in the pop up menu.
VIDEO Jack
Connect this jack to the video out jack of a
camcorderor aVCR. Detailsare on page3 I.
AUDIO Jack
Connect this iack to the audio out iack of a
camcorderor aVCR. Detailsare on page 3 I.
EARPHONE Jack
Connect earphones(not supplied)here for
personallistening.
REW(ind) Button
When tape playback is stopped,press to
rewind the tape at highspeed. During play-
back,pressto rewind the tape while the pic-
ture stayson-screen.Press to changea setting
of a pop up menu item (for example,to adjust
the BRIGHTNESSsetting).
PLAY Button
Pressto playa tape. Detailsare on page28.
Press to release Searchor Still mode and
return to normal playbaclc Detailsare on page
46, Pressto selectan item in the pop up
menu.
F.FWD Button
when tape playbackis stopped, pressto fast
forward the tape at highspeed.During play-
back,pressto fast forward the tape while the
picture stayson-screen.Press to changea set-
ting of a pop up menu item (for example,to
adjustthe BRIGHTNESS setting).
REC(ord)/OTR Button
Press once to start a recording. Detailsare on
page 29. Press repeatedly to start a One-
Touch Recording (an immediatetimed
recording, 30 minutes to eighthours long) of
the channelyou are watching.Detailsare on
page 30.
RECORD Light
Appears duringa recording. It flasheswhen the
TV/VCR power is turned off to set a timer recording
or when a recording is paused. It flashes rapidly if the
"rv/VCR power is turned off to set a timer recording
and a tape is not in the TV/VCR.
