INSTANT TIMER RECORDING
(ITR)
Instant Timer Recording allows you to easily make recordings of a preset lellgth without using the program
timer.
•
FOR ITR RECORDING
1. Be sure that the clock is set to the correct time.
(Refer to "CLOCK SEI-FING".)
2. Insert the cassette (one with the erase prevention
tab intact) into the cassette loading door.
3. Press "INPUT SELECT"
button so as to select
Channel Number Display on the display.
4. Press "CHANNEL"
Select Buttons to select the
channel to be recorded.
5. Press "TAPE SPEED" button to select the desired
speed.

STARTING
ITR
To start recording
immediately
and to set the
recording length (in 30-minute increments).
1. First perform
Steps 1 through
5 of "FOR ITR
RECORDING".
2. Press "REC/ITR"
button twice. The "INSTANT
TIMER RECORD"
as illustrated,
will appear on
the iV screen.

"REC/ITR" Button

RECALLING
THE ITR SE'PrlNG
Press the "REC/ITR" button once, the recalled ITR
setting will be displayed on the screen. The recalled
ITR setting will automatically
return to the current
position in 3 seconds.
NOTE:
To recall the recording
time,
press the
REC/ITR button once. If you press this button twice
or more, the recording time will be changed.

TO CANCEL
THE ITR SE'I-FING
1. You can clear ITR by pressing the "STOP" button.
The VCR will stop and ITR will be cleared.
2. Press the "POWER" ON/OFF button to stop the
VCR during ITR operation.
NOTES:
• During
Instant Timer
Recording,
you can not
change the Channel of the VCR.
• If you want to view another channel, Press the
VCR/'TV button to -IV mode, and then select the
channel to be viewed with the TV's channel
selector.
