Definition
Arcing is the inicrowave tem_ fin" sparks in the oven. Arcing is caused by:
• metal or fifil touching the side of the oven.
• fifil that is not molded to fl)od (upturned edges act like
antennas),
• metal such as twist-ties, i)otfltry pins, gold-rimmed dishes.
• recycled paper towels containing small metal pieces.

placed on a cooling rack.
