Toll Saver
Toll Saver can save you the cost of a call when you access your messages from
another phone:
• If you have new messages,the unit answersafter the 2nd ring.
• If you have no new messages, t he unit answersafter the Sthring.
Youcan hang up after the 3rd ring and savethe paytelephoneor long distancecharge.
Setting the Security Code
Thisfeature allows you to change the factory default remote accesscode usedfor
remote accessto you answerer.The default code is 123.
1. If you just adjusted the Ringsto Answer menu,skip to Step2. If you haven't
adjusted any other setting, pressand releasethe MENUbutton until the screen
displaysREMOTE A CCESS.
2 The left-most digit, or a (_)sign will flash indicating the unit isready to acceptthe
security codeentry.
3. Usethe keypadto enter a three digit Security Code.
/4.After the 3rd and last digit have been entered,pressthe MENUbutton to store the
security codeand go to the next setting.
NOTE:To skip to the next setting, press the MENUbutton. To exit setup,
press the FLASH/E×ITbutton.
NOTE:If you make a mistake, you can use the SKIPor REPEAT
button to move between 1st to 3rd digit and input the number from
the keypad again.
