Wall Mounting the Phone
1. To preparefor wall mounting,wrap excess
telephonecord, if any, around the hooks
providedon the wall mount bracket. Be sureto
leaveenough cord for connectingto the baseat
the top and the walljack through the center cut
out of the wall bracket.
2. Plugthe line cord into thejack of the base.
3. Alignthe line cord with the small cut out in the
wall mount bracket.
4. Align and insetthe two sets of small tabs of the wall mount bracket into the base
at the top. Thengently pressinto the two sets of bottom grooves until it snaps in
place.
5. Connectthe small end of the power adapter into the POWER 7.5VACjack on the
back of the answerer.Securethe cord of the power adapter in the grooveon the
wall mount bracket.
6. Carefullyturn the handset hook180with a coin or screwdriveruntil it points
upward (theWALLimprint will be right side up).You needto do this so the at the
handset doesn'tfall out of the base.
7. Connectthe line cord to the wall phonejack, through the center cutout of the wall
mounting bracket.
8. Slipthe mounting of the base(on bottom of unit) overthe wall plate post and slide
the base down until the phone is firmly in place.
9. Plugone end of the coiled cord into the handset. Plugthe other end into the jack
on the sideof the base.
lO.Pk]ce the hc]ndset on the boise.
11.Plug the AC Power (]dc]pter into (In AC power outlet. The screen dispk]ys PLEASE
WAIT...then announces: "Press menu key to set up unit". The unit is rec]dy for
Answering System Set Up.
