Zone
The Zone setting is ouseful function for y our overseas trips.
This feature enables you t odisplay the l ocal time o n the LCD
screen while you o re a broad.
1.Select the Zone setting from the Setup menu as
described previously. The w orld time s creen will appear.
2. Use the Up/Down navigation buttons to switch between
the hometown (_ )and t ravel destination (_ )fields.
3. Use the Left/Right navigation buttons toselect acity
close to the desired time z one. Then press the Q button
toconfirm.
Formot Memory
Please note: formatting enables you t odelete oil c ontents in
the memory cord a nd b uilt-in memory, including protected
photo and m ovie files.
To use t his s etting:
1.Select Format Memory inthe File a nd S oftware menu.
2. Use the Up/Down navigation button toselect Yes orNo.
Then press theQ button toconfirm the setting.
Dote/Time
See "Setting the Dote a nd Time" section on page 15.
3.Select Yes, the c amera will format the selected media.
Note that when you p erform the Format Memory
function, itonly formats the active memory. Ifon SD
memory cord isinserted, the SD memory cord isactive
and w ill b e formatted. Ifthere is no SD memory cord,
the internal memory is active and t he internal memory
will be formatted. Formatting the S D memory cord will
not automatically format the i nternal memory.
