oven,
keep
the toil at least

the oven.
The tim will operate
automatically
under
certain conditions
(see
Automatic
Fan tbature).
Take care to prevent the
starting and spreading
of
accidental
cooking fires
while the vent thn is in use.
o Clean tile underside
of
the microwave
often.
Do not allow grease
to build up oil the
microwave
or the
tan filters.

cookware--Plastic
cookware
designed

is
very usethl,
but should
be used careflfll>
Even
microwave-sat_
plastic
may not be as tolerant
of
overcooking
conditions
as are glass or ceramic
materials
and may soften
or char
if subjected
to short
periods
of
overcooking.
In longer
exposures
to over-
cooking,
the
tood
and
cookware
could
ignite.
Follow
these
guidelines:

only and use
them
in strict compliance
with the cookware

containers.
Do not permit children
to use plastic cookware
without complete
supervision.

of a grease
fire oil the surthce
units

the
microwave
oven,
smother
a flaming
pan on the
surthce
unit
by covering
the pan
completely
with a lid, a
cookie
sheet
or a fiat troy.
o Use care when
cleaning
tile vent thn filters.
Corrosive
cleaning
agents,
such as lye-based
oven
cleaners,
n/ay
damage
the filters.
* When preparing
flaming %ods under
tile microwave,
turn
the tan oil.
o Never leave surface units
beneath
your microwave
oven unattended
at high
heat settings.
Boilovers
cause smoking
and greasy
spillovers that nlay ignite
and spread if the
microwave vent tan is
operating.
To minimize
automatic
thn operation,
use adequate
sized
cookware and use high
heat oil surthce
units
only when necessar>
Most pacemakers
are
shielded
from intertbrence
tiom electronic
products,
including
microwaves.
HoweveL

pacemakers
