14) Mute Control
Determines the location of a channel mute in the mixer's signal path.
• Pre-IntelliMix: the signal mutes prior to the Intellimix bus.
• Post-IntelliMix: the signal goes to the mix bus and is muted after it
contributes to IntelliMix decisions (such as MaxBus and NOM).
Mix Outputs
15) Mix Name
Displays Mix Output name, set from the Mix Output tab.
16) Gating Style
Determines the way gain is applied to open channels.
• Full: Channels open at full gain, adjusted to the NOMA factor.
• Relative: Channels open at a gain level that varies with the input signal
level—quieter signals receive less gain than loud signals.Note: Gate
Group and Hold Time are disabled in this setting.
17) Gain Scaling
Determines how total system gain is managed. There are two types of
Gain Scaling:
• Fixed: Off attenuation is a fixed amount. Total system gain varies with the
number of open channels.
• Adaptive: Off attenuation is adjusted to maintain a uniform system gain
comparable to that of a single open channel. Note: Off Attenuation, Last
Mic Lock-On, and NOMA are disabled in this setting.

18) Off Attenuation
Sets the amount of attenuation applied to closed channels. This is
disabled when the Gain Scaling is set to Adaptive.
19) Hold Time
In Full gating style, this determines how long a channel remains open
after the signal level drops below the gate threshold. This is disabled
when the Gating Style is set to Relative.
20) NOMA (Number of Open Microphone Attenuation)
NOMA attenuates the system gain as additional channels open in a mix.
This controls system levels and reduces feedback. The parameter setting
applies per doubling of microphones.
21) MAX NOM (Number of Open Microphones)
Limits the maximum number of microphones that can be open in a mix at
the same time. When set to Max, there is no limit.
Tip: Set the MAX NOM to 1 for "Filibuster Mode" (one talker at a time).
22) LMLO (Last Mic Lock On)
Avoids ambient dropout by keeping at least one channel open at all times
(the last opened channel). This is disabled when the Gain Scaling is set to
Adaptive.
