Do not allow the starter grip to snap back against the engine. Return it
gently to prevent damage to the starter or housing.
7. If the choke rod was moved to the CLOSED position to start the
engine, gradually push it to the OPEN position as the engine warms
up.

STOPPING THE ENGINE

In an emergency:
1. To stop the engine in an emergency, turn the engine switch to the
OFF position.
In normal use:
1. Turn the AC circuit breaker to the OFF position.
2. Unplug appliances from the generator receptacles.
3. Turn the engine switch to the OFF position.
4. Turn the fuel valve lever to the OFF position.
