SERVICING YOUR HONDA OUTBOARD MOTOR
ENGINE OIL LEVEL CHECK
Check the engine oil level with the engine stopped and the outboard motor in
a vertical position.
1. Check the oil level shown on the oil level inspection window.
2. If the oil level is near or below the lower limit mark on the window, fill with
the recommended oil to the upper limit mark on the window (see page 44).
Running the engine with a low oil level can cause engine damage.
