7. STOPPING THE ENGINE (TILLER HANDLE TYPE)
Emergency Engine Stop

SWITCH LANYARD
EMERGENCY STOP
SWITCH CLIP
Disengage the emergency stop switch
clip from the emergency stop switch by
pulling the emergency stop switch lan-
yard.
It is a good idea to stop the engine with
the emergency stop switch lanyard from
time to time to be sure that the switch is
operating properly.
Normal Engine Stop

(Neutral)
GEAR SHti LEVER
1. Turn the throttle grip to SLOW
position, and move the gearshift
lever to N (neutral).
IGNITION SWITCH
2. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF
position.
3. When the boat is not in use, remove
and store the ignition switch key.
