TAKING CARE OF UNEXPECTED PROBLEMS
Possible Cause
Water separator full of water
accumulation.
Spark plugs faulty, fouled, or
improperly gapped.
Spark plugs wet with fuel (flooded
engine).
Fuel system malfunction, fuel
pump failure, ignition malfunction,
etc.
Correction
Clean water separator (p.
Gap (non-iridium type) or replace
spark plugs (p. 72 ).
Dry and reinstall spark plugs. Start
engine with the throttle open.
Replace or repair faulty
components as necessary.
