4.1.3 Clean engine cooling system:
POTENTIAL HAZARD
♦ Excessive debris and damaged or

HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD
♦ Clean all debris from inside of pump drive
a) Stop engine, wait for all moving parts to stop, and remove key. Engage
parking brake.
b) Clean all debris from rotating engine air intake screen and from around
engine shrouding.
c) Clean all debris from inside of pump drive belt compartment.
d) Inspect rubber engine baffles for proper fit. Replace if necessary.
4.1.4 Clean grass build-up under deck.
a) Stop engine, wait for all moving parts to stop, and remove key. Engage
parking brake.
b) Raise deck to the transport (4.5" (11.4 cm) cutting height) position. Lift the
front of unit and support unit using jack stands or equivalent support.
