If you connect a VCR with an S-video jack to the "S-VIDEO"
jack on the TV rear, you must also connect the audio
cables to the "VIDEO 1 INPUT" AUDIO jacks on the TV rear panel. The S-video cable supplies video signals only.

To select the video input source
Turn on the -rv and the VCR.

Press TV/VIDEO
on the Remote Control
(or ANT/
VIDEO on the TV) to select "VIDEO 1."
Operate your VCR normally.
Notes:
• When the S-video cable is connected to the S-VIDEO
IN jack, the video cable (phono-type) should not be
connected.
• The S-VIDEO jack accepts SEPARATED Luminance/
Chrominance
(Y/C) signals conforming to the NTSC
standard.
