P3/WMA/JPEG/DwX
playback
MP3 and WMA flies can be played
back. You can also display JPEG/
DivX_> files on the TV screen and en-
joy them.
Some discs may not play due to the
condition of the recording.
Preparation:
• Turn ON the TV and set to the video input mode.
. Press DVD to select the DVD mode. (The DVD indicator will light.)
Using the Play screen
Load the disc storing MP3, WMA, JPEG or DivX_.
The Play screen will appear.

Limitations
on MP3/WMA/
JPEG/DivX
® playback:
• MP3/WMA/JPEG/DivX _ CD is a disc
that is standardized by ISO9660.
. The folder and file names of the
MP3/WMA/JPEG/DivX
_ CD must
correspond to the ISO standardized
file names.
• This unit can read 200 files per
folder. If one folder has more than
200 files, it reads up to 200 files, the
remaining files will be omitted.
, If the CD has both audio tracks and
MP3/WMA/JPEG/DivX
_ files, only
audio tracks are played.
, It may take more than one minute
for this unit to read MP3/WMA/
JPEG/DivX #_ files depending on its
structure.
• Music recorded by "Joliet Record-
ing Specification"
can be played
back. Long file names will be cut.
• The music files recorded by "Hier-
archical File System" (HFS) cannot
be played.
• The MP3/WMA/JPEG files recorded
on DVD disc cannot be playback.
• The DivX _"_ f iles recorded on DVD
disc can be playback.

The MP3, WMA, JPEG and DivX _' files and folders stored in the
disc are displayed on the Play screen.
. Select a folder and press •
or i_ to select _
(Open Folder)
and press ENTER. The files in the folder appear.
To return to the parent directory, select "_.."
in the top of the file
list, and press ENTER.
When the file to be displayed
is selected
You can select the file types to be displayed on the Play screen.
Press •
or II_ to select _
(Select Files) and press ENTER.
The following list will appear.
Video:
Only DivX _ files appear.
Music:
Only MP3 and WMA files appear.
Picture:
Only JPEG files appear.
All Types:
All files and folders appear.
Select
item in the above list and
ENTER.
one
press
The display will be changed to the selected display type.
