you to activate
or deactivate
the stereo
surround
effect,

Select the "STR"(stereo)
mode following
steps 1 through
3 on the previous
page.
Press MENU, then press
<or > until the
PREMIUM menu appears.

Press A or v tO select "SURROUND."
Press < or > to highlight
"On."

To deactivate
the Surround
sound function
Select "Off" in step 4 above.
Note:
Normally
you
can leave
the MTS function
set to "STR,"
and the
SURROUND
sound
function
set to "On."
The TV will
automatically
produce
either
Surround
sound
stereo
or monaural,
whichever
is
broadcast.
