Recording A Program; Programming And Recording - Sony CDP-297 Operating Instructions Manual

You can make a program by designating up to 24 selections in desired order. At the
same time, you can adjust the total playing time of the program, so that you can
make the program fit the length of a tape when recording.

If you choose wrong selections
Each time you press the CLEAR button, the last
chosen selection is deleted.
1) Press the I<_ <1< (1_1<1) or IH_ I_b,I (IHH) button to

selection.
Step number appears in the display for a while.

Press the II button on the remote commander to
make a program for side B.
"P" is displayed in the display and the total playing
time is reset to 0. A pause is also counted as a
selection.
