Deleting movies and
photos
You can free media space by deleting
movies and photos from recording media.
_Notes
• 5_u cannot restore images once they are
deleted. Save important movies and photos in
advance.
• Do not remove the battery pack or the AC
Adaptor f)com },our camcorder while deleting
the images. It may damage the recording media.
• Do not eject memory card while deleting
images fi'om the memory card.
• 5_u cannot delete protected movies and photos.
Undo the protection of the movies and photos
to delete them, beibre you try to delete them.
• If the deleted movie is included in the Playlist,
the movie added to the Playlist is deleted also
fl'om the Playlist.
_Tips
• 5_u can delete an image on the playback screen
from _ OPTION MENU.
• To delete all images recorded in the recording
media, and recover all the recordable space of
the media, lbrmat the media.
• Reduced size images which enable you to view
many images at the same time on an index
screen are called "thmnbnails;'

[EDIT] category).
To delete movies, touch
[g::lt DELETE] --_ [1t_ DELETE].
• Todelete photos, touch [_DELETE]

Touch and display the 4 mark
on the movies or photos to be
deleted.
• Press and hold the image down on the
Lcr) screen to confirm the image. Touch
to return to the previous screen.
