Each contributor grants you a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free patent license under the contributor's essential patent
claims, tomake, use, sell, offer for s ale, import and o therwise run, modify and p ropagate the contents ofits contributor version.
In the following three paragraphs, a"patent license" isany e xpress agreement or commitment, however denominated, not
toenforce apatent (such as an express permission topractice apatent or covenant not tosue f or p atent infringement). To
"grant" such apatent license toaparty means tomake such a n agreement or commitment not toenforce apatent against the
party.
Ifyou convey acovered work, knowingly relying on apatent license, and t he Corresponding Source ofthe work isnot
available for a nyone tocopy, free o fcharge and u nder the terms ofthis License, through apublicly available network server or
other readily accessible means, then y ou must either (I)cause the Corresponding Source tobe so available, or (2) a rrange
todeprive yourself ofthe benefit ofthe patent license for t his particular work, or (3) a rrange, inamanner consistent with t he

Apatent license is"discriminatory" ifitdoes not i nclude within the scope ofits coverage, prohibits the exercise of, o r is
conditioned on the non-exercise ofone or more ofthe rights that are specifically granted under this L icense. You m ay n ot
convey acovered work ifyou are aparty toan arrangement with a third p arty that isinthe business of d istributing software,
under which you make payment tothe third p arty based on the extent ofyour activity ofconveying the w ork, and u nder which
the third p arty grants, toany o fthe parties who w ould receive the covered work from you, adiscriminatory patent license (a)
inconnection with copies ofthe covered work conveyed by you ( or c opies made from those copies), or(b) p rimarily for a nd i n
connection with s pecific products or compilations that contain the covered work, unless you entered into t hat arrangement, or
that patent license was g ranted, prior to28March 2007.
Nothing inthis L icense shall be construed as excluding orlimiting any i mplied license or other defenses toinfringement that
may otherwise be available toyou under applicable patent law.
12. N o Surrender ofOthers' Freedom.
Ifconditions are imposed on you (whether by court order, agreement orotherwise) that contradict the conditions ofthis
License, they d o not excuse you from the conditions ofthis L icense. Ifyou cannot convey acovered work so as tosatisfy
simultaneously your obligations under this L icense and a ny o ther pertinent obligations, then a s aconsequence you m ay n ot
convey itatall. F or e xample, ifyou agree toterms that obligate you t ocollect aroyalty for f urther conveying from those to
whom y ou convey the Program, the only w ay you could satisfy both t hose terms and t his License would be torefrain entirely
from conveying the Program.
13. U se w ith t he GNU A ffero General Public License.
