Eyepiece focus control is misadjusted.
The small control on the side of the viewfinder controls the
brightness of the viewfinder.
This control has been set at
the factory and should require no adjustment. If the
brightness of the viewfinder ever does require adjustment,
carefully use a plastic screwdriver.
Make the adjustment
with caution to prevent damaging the miniature control.
• For best results, only use higher shutter speeds outdoors.
Rotate SCENE SELECTAE
dial to sports ( [] ) or
Shutter ( _ ). See page 38.
• Subject in front of a strong backlight. Rotate SCENE
SELECTAE
dial to select back-lit ( [] ). Seepage 38.
• Turn on the built-in color enhancement light.
• Add more light using the exposure control. See page 46.
• SCENE SELECTAE
dial may be turned to special effect
mode. Turn the SCENE SELECTAE
dial toAUTO.

• CLASSIC FILM selected with SCENE SELECTAE
dial.

• Camcorder is set to the 16X9 mode. Turn off 16X9. See
