However, t he DLPTV has the advantagethat no stainsor after-images are left on the screen.
The DLPTV has mirrorpixelson the DMDpanel that projectthe beamontothe screen,in
which the mirroris a digitalrepresentation of 0s and ls, leavingno trace of light.
The mirrorreturnsto a blankstate so that no stainsor after-imagesare left.

Evenif the TV cannotbe turnedon after connecting, t he TV will turn on if you disconnect t he
connection.
- A too long DVl cablemay causea malfunction or degradationof the visualqualitydue to an
attenuationof the signal.Thereis no recommendation for the cable lengthat present.
In general,althougha cablelengthof up to 5 metersshouldwork, pleasecheckif videois
properlydisplayedon the screenafter connecting.If you thinkthe lengthof the cable is longer
than for normaluse, checkthevisual qualityof the videoon the screenand shortenthe
length,if necessary.

HD broadcasting as HD-rated.Installthe formal set-topbox for HD broadcasts.

However, w henconnectedto a set-topbox,the digitalTV rendersHD broadcasts as HD-rated
and rendersSD as SD-rated.The screensize is scaledto 4:3.

This can be understood easily.
Evena high-resolution TV cannotimprovea low resolutionpictureinto highquality.
In contrast,an SD-rated TV cannot representHD broadcastingas HD becausethe resolution of
the TV is lowerthanthe original.
The representation capabilityof SD or HD-rateddependentirelyon the TV set.The HD TV can
renderHD broadcasting as HD-ratedonly whenit receivesHD sources.
