Types
of Recordings
Your TV/VCR provides different types of recording. These types are explained
in the following sections:

Instructions
1. Insert a tape with safety tab in place.
2. Press SPEED to select a recording speed.
The tape speed indicator (SP or SLP) appears.
3. Select the channel to be recorded. If recording from the AUDIO/VIDEOIN
jacks, press O0 on the remote or INPUT on the TV/VCR to select the line
input (VIDEO).
The channel number or VIDEO appears.
4. Press REC to begin recording.
The indicator in the REC button on the front of the TV/VCR turns on
during recording and RECORD appears on the screen.
5. Press STOP/EJECT on the TV/VCR or STOP on the remote to stop
recording.
Note: If you load a tape with the safety tab removed into the TV/VCR and
press the REC (record) button, the tape will eject from the TV/VCR. Tapes
with the
safety
tab removed cannot be recorded on. See
below illustration
for
safety tab location.
