Trouble Checks
Can't tune any stations
No sound
Turns off while playing
'gums on unexpectedly
Can't receive National Weather Service
(NWS)
• If TV is connected to cable-TV, check with the cable company to see if they are
broadcasting FM radio stations.
• Maybe sound is muted. Try pressing VOL up to restore sound.
•SLEEP TIMER function may have been activated.
• If radio came on because of the alarm, it will automatically shut off after one hour.
• Electronic protection circuit may have been activated because of a power surge. Wait
30 seconds then turn on again. If this happens frequenr3y, the voltage in your house
may be abnormally high.
• Make sure the power cord is fully inserted into back of TV.
•ALARM function may be turned on.
• Check TV's ANTENNA: CABLE/AIR function. The radio will only receive NWS
(National Weather Service) if it is in the AIR mode.
• You will not be able to receive NWS if you have cable-TV connected to your "IV.
You must have a home antenna connected as explained on page 8.
*The NWS may not be broadcast in your area. Check with the National Weather
Service closest to you. It should be listed in the phone book.
Can't select certain station .Station may not be strong enough to activate the scan function. Try using the + and -
buttons on the remote.
