Helpful Hints:
• The Program Timer overrides the Sleep Timer.
• Program Timer can only access channels in Pro-
gram Channel memory.
• "Set Timer First"will appear on screen when the
set "Yes" option is tried without the clock being
set.
• The Timer light located on front of Receiver will
be lit when either Program Timer is active.
• When a Timer DAY is set for any single day, the
timer program will functlon once and then deacti-
vate.
• If you see a red "PG" in the upper right hand cor-
ner the channel you have selected has been
locked out•
• Ifthe Program timer "ON" functions while the set
is operating, the set will automatically tune to the
channel designated in the timer program.

Timer-
The
(Dual Program) Timer
Feature is capable of turning the TV on to a desired
channel and then turning the set off at a predetermined
time.
NOTE: The clock and day must be set for this feature to
operate. (Refer to Set-Up Menu to Set Time &
Day.)
1.
Press the ACTION button to display the Main Menu.
2.
Press the ADVANCE • / • and 4 / • button re-
peatedly until the Timer Icon is highlighted.
3.
Press the ACTION button to display the Timer Menu.
4.
Press the ADVANCE • or • button to highlight the
TIMER 1 or TIMER 2 option desired•
Day or days you wish the timer to activate.
ON (time) - minutes and seconds
OFF (time) -minutes and seconds
CH (channel) you want tuned when the timer
activates.
SET-
NO (timer feature will not activate)
YES (timer feature will activate as options are
set)
