In Picture menu under OTHER ADJ. select:
[] SCAN MODE Select'IV mode (frame doubling) for optimum detail and clarity. Select Game
mode (line doubling) to optimize picture when playing complex, fast action video games.
£3 COLOR MATRIX Select HD or SD to automatically adjust color parameters for HD (high
definition) and SD (standard definition) transmissions.

PTV defaults to 4:3 when the set is turned off. Select 16:9 in the PTV picture VIDEC
ADJ2 menu to change the format back to letterbox with black bars.
