Using the Zoom
Use the zoom
control
to activate
optical
zoom.
Rotate
the zoom
control
toward
T to zoom
in, increasing
the
size of the subject.
Rotate the zoom
control
toward
W
to zoom
out, increasing
the area visible
in the frame.
Rotating
the zoom
control
all the way in either
direction
will adjust the zoom
quickly,
while
rotating
the control
partially
will adjust
the zoom
slowly.
• When
the camera
is turned
on, the zoom
is at the
maximum
wide-angle
position.
• A zoom
indicator
is displayed
atthe
top of the
monitor
when
the zoom
control
is rotated.

Interpolation
is applied
at zoom
positions
beyond

when taking
still images.
When zoom
is increased
beyond

interpolation
is initiated
and the zoom
indicator
turns yellow to indicate
that interpolation

for confirmation
