Periodically inspectthe blade and/orspindlefor cracksor damage,
especiallyafter you'vestrucka foreignobject.Do notoperatethe
machineuntildamagedcomponents are replaced.
To removethe blades,proceedas follows.

Removethe deck from beneaththe tractor,(referto CuttingDeck
Removal o n page21) thengently flipthe deck overto exposeits
underside.
2.
Placea block of woodbetweenthe centerdeck housingbaffle
and the cuttingbladeto act as a stabilizer. S ee Figure18.

Removethe hexflangenut that securesthe bladeto the spindle
