AUTOMATIC OVENTURN
OFF/SABBATH MODE
The oven will automaticallyturn off after 12
hours, if you accidentally leave it on. You
may deactivatethis feature,if desired.
TO ELIMINATE 12 HOURTURN OFF:
1. Pressthe Clockpad and hold for sever-
al secondsuntil"12" appearsin the dis-
play. The indicatorwordTIME will flash
in the display.
2. Press any number pad until 8888
appears in the display. Current time of
day will reappearafter four seconds.
TO RESTORE:
Press the Clock pad and hold for several
secondsuntil 8888 appears.Press"1" num-
ber pad. "12"willappearbrieflyin thedisplay
followedby the currenttime of day.
OVENTEMPERATURE
ADJUSTMENT
If you think the oven should be hotter or
cooler,you can adjust it yourself.To decide
how muchto changethe oventemperature,
set the temperature 25°F higher or lower
than the temperaturein your recipe, then
bake. The results of the "test" should give
you an idea of how muchto adjust the tem-
perature.
TOADJUSTTHE OVENTEMPERATURE:
1. Press the Bakepad.
2. Enter 550 o by pressingthe numberpads
"5, 5, 0".
3. Press and hold the Bake pad for several
secondsuntil 0° appearsin the display.
4. Press any number pad to change the
temperature. E achtime a pad is pressed,
the temperaturechangesby 5°F.
>- Press repeatedly to reach +35°E
Continue pressing to reduce the
temperatureup to -35°R
>- If the oven temperaturewas previ-
ously adjusted, the change will be
displayed.For example,if the oven
temperature was reduced by 150 ,
the display will show -150 .
5. When you have made the adjustment,
press the CANCEL pad and the time of
daywill reappearin the display.The oven
will now bake at the adjusted tempera-
ture.
NOTE: Do not changethe temperatureset-
ting more than 10o at a time beforetesting
the oven.
It is not necessaryto readjustthe oventem-
peratureif there isa powerinterruption. T his
adjustmentwill not affect broil or clean tem-
peratures.
PILOTLESS IGNITION
Yourrangeis equipped with pilotlessignition.
With this type of ignitionsystem,the gas au-
tomaticallyshuts off and the oven will not
operateduringa powerfailure.
A lighted match will not light the oven
burner. No attempt should be made to
operate the oven during a power failure.
OVENFAN
A convectionfan is usedto circulatehotair
in the oven when the convectionfeature is
selected.It automaticallyturns on whenever
the Convectpad is pressedand will turnoff
whenConvect is canceled.
NOTE:Theconvectionfan will automatically
stop wheneverthe ovendoor is opened.
