Fast Forward/Reverse Search - Magnavox MRD500VR Owner's Manual

Press DVD to put the System in DVD mode.The red DVD
light will appear on the front of the System.
During playback, press FF IH_ or REW _<t<1.
Use FF IH_ for a forward search. Press REVV <i_ for a
reverse search.
o During DVD playback,pressing FF _
or REW _ will
forward or reverse the picture at two, eight, 50, or 100 1
times the normal playback speed.

An _ 2, _ 8, _ 50, or _ 100 will appear briefly
on the "IV screen to indicate reverse searching. Or, _ 2,
8, _ 50, or _ 100 will appear briefly on the TV .............
screen to indicate fast forward searching.Sound will be
mute during searching.
• DuringAudio CD playback,you may search only at 16 times
the normal playback speed.An <t<1 16 or IH_ 16 will
appear briefly on the TV screen. Sound will be intermittent
during searching on an Audio CD.
• During MP3 playback,you can search at only eight rJmes the
normal speed.An _ 8 or _ 8 will appear briefly on the
TV.
Example: Playing a DVD in
reverse at twice the normal
