Light Bulb Replacement
Unplug refrigerator before replacing a
light bulb.
Fresh food compartment. An easily-accessible
appliance bulb is located at the top of the fresh food
compartment at front, center._Replace with same-size,
same-type bulb_
Freezer compartment. On some models, an appliance
bulb is located at the top right, rear of the freezer
compartment, behind a snap-out light shield,. Replace
with same.size, same-type bulb.
When You Go On Vacation
For extended vacations or absences, shut off power
to the refrigerator, turn the control to the OFF position
and clean the interior with a baking soda solution of one
tablespoo n (15 ml) of baking soda to one quart (1 L) of
water_ Wipe dry. To prevent odors, leave an open box
of baking soda in the refrigerator_ Leave the doors open..
For shorter vacations, remove perishable foods and
leave controls at their regular settings_ However, if room
temperature is expected to drop below 55 o F. (13 ° C.),
folbw the same instructionsas for extended vacations.
if your refrigerator has an icemaker, move the
icemaker feeler arm to the STOP (up) position and be
sure to shut off the water supply to the refrigerator.
When You Move
Disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet, remove
all food, and clean and dry the interior.
Secure all loose items such as shelves and drawers by
taping them securely in place to prevent damage_
Be sure the refrigerator stays in an upright position
during actual moving and in the van. It must be secured
in the van to prevent movement. Protect outside of
refrigerator with a blanket
