With the first generation, the Meriva was already the
pioneer for a new vehicle segment. The new Opel Meriva,
launched in June 2010, is setting new standards in
automotive versatility with a multitude of unique features
designed to use the available space as flexibly as possible,
and all packed in a distinctive, contemporary design.
With the Meriva, Opel is the first volume manufacturer to
offer the FlexDoors concept: innovative, rear-hinged rear
doors that greatly facilitate access to the cabin.

The new Opel Astra is distinguished by its design and
affordable technological innovations. With the Astra, a
wide range of comfort and safety features, already
introduced in the mid-size class in the Insignia, make their
debut in the compact class. Extraordinary technologies
such as a completely new mechatronic chassis, the
especially advanced forward lighting system AFL+,
a front camera that recognizes traffic signs and certified
ergonomic seats are available for the Astra.

Mit der ersten Generation war der Meriva bereits
Wegbereiter für ein neues Fahrzeugsegment. Der neue
Meriva, seit Juni 2010 auf dem Markt, setzt neue Standards
hinsichtlich automobiler Vielseitigkeit mit einer Fülle einzig-
artiger Ausstattungsmerkmale, die allesamt entwickelt
wurden, um den vorhandenen Raum so flexibel wie möglich
nutzen zu können. Das alles kommt in einem unverwechsel-
baren, zeitgemäßen Design. Als erster Volumenhersteller
präsentiert Opel beim Meriva das FlexDoors-Türkonzept:
innovative, hinten angeschlagene Fondtüren, die einen
besonders leichten Zugang zum Innenraum ermöglichen.

Der neue Opel Astra begeistert mit seinem Design und
bezahlbaren technologischen Innovationen. Mit dem Astra
debütierten zahlreiche Komfort- und Sicherheitsmerkmale
in der Kompaktklasse, die zuvor der Insignia in der Mittel-
klasse eingeführt hat. Außergewöhnliche Technologien wie
ein völlig neues mechatronisches Fahrwerk, das besonders
fortschrittliche Lichtsystem AFL+, eine Frontkamera zur
Verkehrszeichenerkennung oder zertifizierte ergonomische
Sitze sind für den Astra erhältlich.
