Initial Setup
This section
wili guide you through
the unit's nital
setting
which
ndudes
selecting
a language
for your
on screen
menu
and autoprogram,
which
automat
tally scans and memorizes
v ewabie
channels.
Before
you begin:
Hake
sure the unt is connected
to antenna
or cable.

After
making all the necessary
connections,
press _ to turn
on the unit,

It may take
a few moments
to turn
on the unt for the
first time,

Setup]
menu

unt is turned
on,

to select the on screen language
from the
choices (Engl sh / Espa_ol/Franca
s) on the rght
sde of the

screen, then
press OK.

to select [Antenna]
forIV
channels
or [Cable]
for C/_IV
channels, then
press OK.

Use <1/1_ to select the desired
location
setting, then
press
OK.
[Home]
is ENERGY
STAR _ qualified
sett ng.
Select
[Retail]
s_tore,the
unit will be set up with
predefined
setting
for retail d splays. In this setting, the
power
consumption
may possibly
exceed
the limited
requ rement
of the ENERGY
g IAR ® qualification.
Select
[Home],
the unit s set to maxmze
the energ 7
efl]c ency for home
setting
and t can be adjusted
through
a choice
of picture
and sound
quality
accord
ng
to your
preference.
Use this setting
to remove
the

message

screen.
You must set [Home]
in step 4. Otherwise,
