BROILING
For best results, do not preheat when broiling
unless your recipe recommends it.
1. Place the STURDIGLIDF m rack so that the
surface of the food is no less than 3 inches away
from the broil burner. See "Broiling guidelines,"
pp. 19, 20.
2. Put your food on the broiler pan and place the

pan in the center of
the oven rack. Close
the door.
3. Press BROIL. PRESS YOU SEE
BP, OIL
4. Press START/ENTER. PRESS YOU SEE
You can change the temperature setting any
time before or after pressing START/ENTER. START__
To change the temperature, see "Precision E_E.
broiling" later in this section.
5. After broiling, turn off the oven. PRESS YOU SEE
